Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

Welcome to Nepal! Kathmandu is the hub of Nepal’s traditional culture and arts.  This is the place for rest, relaxation and easy-day sightseeing of historic and artistic temples and monuments, and mountain views. Kastamandap the source of the name Kathmandu and supposed to be made from the timber of a single tree and the Durbar Square are with its array of temples overlooked by the Hanuman Dhoka, a name derived from the statue of Hanuman, the monkey devotee of Lord Ram, near the entrance of the palace. The Kathmandu Durbar Square holds the palaces of the Malla and Shah kings who ruled over the city. Along with these palaces, the square also surrounds quadrangles revealing courtyards and temples built back to as early as the Lichchhavi period in the third century. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Kathmandu Valley sightseeing

After breakfast move out for sightseeing, Pashupatinath Temple is one of the most significant Hindu temples of Shiva in the World, located on the banks of the Bagmati River in the eastern part of Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal and Bouddhanath Stupa is one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Kathmandu, Nepal. It is known as Khasti in Nepal Bhasa, JyarungKhasyor in Tamang language or as Bauddha by speakers of Nepali.  We take an excursion to Bhaktapurthe city is also known, as like a museum of medieval art and architecture with many examples of sculpture, woodcarving and colossal pagoda temples consecrated to different gods and goddesses which is 15 km far from Kathmandu. The square is one of the most charming architectural showpieces of the Valley as it highlights the ancient arts of Nepal. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 03: Drive Kathmandu – Pokhara (230 km / 8 hours on the road)

After breakfast at Hotel. We drive to Pokhara. It is a remarkable place of natural beauty situated at an altitude of 827m from the sea level and 200km west of Kathmandu valley, the city is known as a center of adventure. It is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Nepal, noted for its tranquil atmosphere and the beauty of the surrounding countryside. It is also a base for trekkers undertaking the Annapurna Circuit. The enchanting city has several beautiful lakes and offers stunning panoramic views of Himalayan peaks. The serene of lakes and the magnificence of the Himalayas rising behind them create an ambience of peace and magic. At evening, you will enjoy a free lake side walk. Overnight at Pokhara.

Day 04: Pokhara valley sightseeing.

After breakfast commence for the sightseeing tour of Pokhara. Devi’s fallLocally known as Patale Chhango is an awesome waterfall lying about 2 km south-west of Pokhara on the highway to Tansen.Seti River Gorge, it is carved by Seti River and is one of the natural wonders of Pokhara. KI Singh Bridge at the Bagar, Mahendra Pool &Prithivi Highway Bridge near Bus Park provides a perfect view of the river’s dreadful rush and the deep gorge made by the turbulent flow of white water like milk. Ghupteshwor Mahadev cave, it is probably the longest and attractive cave in south Asia which is located at the pristine location of northwestern part of Pokhara, a world-famous tourist destination in Gandaki zone and Kaski district. Ancestors called this place as desolate Khatri Tara. Bindsabasini Temple, it is the hindu based religion temple which is built in a Pagoda style and the building is of white color. It is also considered as the most popular temple and religious sites of Pokhara. You can also enjoy the fabulous views of the city and the mountain ranges from the temple. End the day with boating at fewa lake.

Day 05: Drive Pokhara – Chitwan (85 km drive 3 hour)

Today we drive to Chitwan where after the arrival we will have lunch at lodge and start some Jungle activities.  At the foot of the Himalayas, Chitwan is one of the few remaining undisturbed vestiges of the ‘Terai’ region, which formerly extended over the foothills of India and Nepal. It has a particularly rich flora and fauna. One of the last populations of single-horned Asiatic rhinoceros lives in the park, which is also one of the last refuges of the Bengal tiger. Enjoy some of the Jungle activates like Elephant back Safari and Slide Presentation on national Park’s background and history.

Day 06: Jungle Activities

Bird Watching or Nature Walk program early morning. For breakfast we will go back to Hotel or Resort.  After breakfast continue Jungle activities like Elephant briefing, Canoe ride subject to weather, Tharu dance, Village walk etc. Half day jeep safari.

Day 07: Drive Chitwan to Kathmandu (186km – 5 Hrs. approx.)

Let’s drive back to the capital and call it a day, evening will be free for you to roam around, buy local gifts and explore the town on your own.

Day 8: Flight to happies country - Bhutan

Today it’s turn to fly to one of the most beautiful gems of Asia, Bhutan. This country is a jumble of impressions. A mélange of sight, sound and taste. It’s where time stretches out like a contented cat. Where the air shakes off all her impurities. Where happiness is measured. After arrival in Paro, drive to Thimphu which takes 1 -2 hrs. Evening take an exploratory walk in Thimphu city Centre, familiarizing yourself with destination.

Day 9 : In Thimphu

After breakfast, walking excursion to Tango Goempa with picnic lunch amidst natural surroundings. Walk through a shimmering violet and crimson rhododendron woodland for about an hour to the Monastery which serves as a Buddhist university with nearly 300 monk scholars in residence. Later in the day visit Buddha Dordenma, the largest statue of Buddha in the country. Then visit Memorial Chorten, the stupa built in memory of Bhutan’s Third King who is popularly regarded as Father of modern Bhutan. Visit to Zilukha Nunnery, the nunnery is home to about 60 nuns who lead life of spiritualism, prayer and meditation. Evening visit to Trashichhodzong, beautiful medieval fortress / monastery.

Day 10 : Further to Punakha (75km, approx. 3-hour drive)

After breakfast, drive to Punakha, en route taking a short stop at Dochula pass (3088m) that heralds the most enchanting views of Bhutan. Afternoon visit Punakha Dzong, the palace of great happiness or bliss. Then take a short excursion to Chimi Lhakhang also known as ‘Fertility Temple’.

Day 11 : Punakha Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed for local tour in Punakha, walking excursion to Khamsum Yuelley Namgel Chorten, Later village excursion of Nobgang and Talo villages visiting farmhouses and meeting families, experiencing Bhutanese rural life. Stop at Nalanda Buddhist Institute, here you’ve opportunity to interact with monks, for knowledge on Buddhism, process of meditation etc. On the way back visit Sangchhen Dorji Lhuendrup Lhakhang Nunnery, view from here is breath-taking. Enjoy rest of the day in this small town.

Day 12 : Back to Paro (125km, 4:30 hr drive)

After breakfast, proceed for walking excursion to Khamsum Yuelley Namgel Chorten. Drive back to Paro across Dochu La. After check-in in Paro Hotel, visit to Ta Dzong (National Museum) & Rinpung Dzong.

Day 13 : Eye of the tiger

Morning after breakfast, excursion to Taktsang Monastery or Tiger’s Nest (approx. 5 hour round trip walk). The Tiger’s Nest Monastery, also known as Paro Takstang, is one of Bhutan’s most recognized spots. Even people on the quickest of tours through Bhutan find the time to make it here. Why? Because this place is extraordinary. The Tiger’s Nest Monastery is a small collection of buildings precariously perched on a cliff, 900 meters off of the ground. It is stunning in its beauty and location. Without a doubt, a first-time trip to Bhutan would not be complete without seeing the Tiger’s Nest. Afternoon visit newly restored Drukgyel Dzong & nearby farmer’s home.

Day 14 : Departure

Today, we part ways with beautiful lands of Budhism and happiness.
