Day 1 : Arrival in Kolkata

Known as the cultural capital of India, Kolkata continues to spawn generations of poets, writers, film producers and Nobel Prize winners. You definitely won’t forget the city on the Hooghly and a boat/ launch trip on it is truly enjoyable.

Day 2 : Kolkata sightseeing

Let’s start the day with Victoria Memorial Hall (museum closed on Monday and National Holidays is a museum having an assortment of Victoria memorabilia, British Raj paintings and other displays. The Royal gallery in Victoria Memorial has portraits of the Queen and Prince Albert. There are numerous paintings, illustrating events from Victoria’s life. Drive by the old heritage buildings of BBD Bagh and visit the bank of the River Ganga to understand the significance of the mighty river in our life. Also visit the famous Howrah Bridge, a huge steel bridge over the Hooghly River. It is considered to be one of the longest cantilever bridges in the world. Also known as Rabindra Setu, it connects Howrah and Kolkata. Visit to St. Paul’s Cathedral and Kalighat Temple; you will finish the day’s tour at the Mother Teresa’s House, the headquarter of the Missionaries of Charity.

Day 3 : Further to Sunderbans

After breakfast in hotel, we start our road drive through the suburbs of Kolkata and then the country side with lush green paddy fields and mud huts with thatched roof which is very unique to this part of the world. It takes about 3.5 Hours to reach the Sundarbans but that is not the forest, it is the place last accessible by road. We then board a boat which takes us through the backwaters with villages on either side until we reach the buffer zone of the forest area and just opposite it is the island where we put you up in the resort for the overnight stay.

Day 4 : In the Park

Today, after breakfast we visit start for Sajnekhali Watch Tower, Sudhanyakhali Watch Tower and cruise through the rivers and narrow creeks of Pitchkhali – Sarakkhali – Sudhanyakhali. Later we enjoy a boat ride which goes through the dense mangrove forest and numerous rivers while visiting Do-banki Watch Tower. The canopy walk inside the forest is an everlasting memory. Later on, we cruise through Matla Sea Face, the point from where the Bay of Bengal can be seen. Then we return to the resort for campfire where you enjoy amongst yourself. Overnight in Sundarbans.

Day 5 : Return to Kolkata

Today after breakfast we Checkout of the hotel and cruise back through the river and reach the main land. Rest of the day at leisure to discover heritage city.

Day 6 : Flight to Island Capital – Port Blair

If you are stuck with a boring routine and a dull life, a visit to Andaman will definitely cheer you up by adding some vibrant shades to your palate. Being in Andaman feels like being in a different world that is far, far away from the world that lacks peace and purity. After lunch, you will visit the extremely popular Cellular Jail. An excursion to the jail will surely make your family holiday memorable. Formerly known as Kala Pani, it was a colonial prison used by the British to deportee political prisoners to this remote location. Next in line is a visit to the Water Sports Complex (closed on Wednesday). The evening is scheduled for enjoying the famous Light and Sound Show at Cellular Jail. The show speaks volumes about the saga of countless martyrs of Indian Independence struggle who laid down their lives. It is conducted every evening within the premises of cellular jail.

Day 7 : Deep in Andamans, Ferry to Havelock Island

Take a ferry ride for 2.5 hours to reach the island, 54 kms from Port Blair. Havelock offers breath taking views of palm trees, clear waters, and coral reefs. In the afternoon, visit the world-famous Radhanagar Beach, Asia’s 7th most beautiful beach. Enjoy the calm ambiance, lay on the white sands, and dive deep into the blue waters of the sea. Game fishing, swimming, and snorkelling are other sports you can indulge in. It was also rated as the ‘Best Beach in Asia’ by the Time Magazine. Sunset views appear truly magical from this beach.

Day 8 : Excursion to Elephanta Beach

On this day, you are going for a memorable excursion to the beautiful Elephant beach. The boat will leave the jetty at 07:30 hours. The boat ride from Havelock Island to Elephant beach takes around 20-25 minutes. Once you reach, indulge in snorkelling and witness plenty of marine life. The beach has white sand and fallen trees that are perfect for relaxing. Do not forget to catch the beauty of this white-sand beach in your camera.

Day 9 : Ferry to Neil Island

Post breakfast in the morning, check out from the hotel. Board a ferry from Havelock and get transferred to the Neil Island. Visit very popular Bharatpur beach and Laxmanpur Beach in the evening. Bharatpur Beach is a beautiful white sandy beach. Here one can relax, enjoy a leisurely walk on the sands and treat their eyes with the coral views. The Sea around the Jetty area is full of corals and schools of fishes swimming around. Laxmanpur Beach is located 2 kms north of Neil Jetty, Laxmanpur Beach is a secluded beach scattered with white shell sand with shallow water offering snorkeling opportunities.

Day 10 : Back to Port Blair

After breakfast at the hotel, check-out and go on-board the ferry for your onward journey to Port Blair. On arrival in Port Blair, the rest of the day is at leisure. Explore the surroundings on your own. Partake in some adventure activities to make your Andaman Nicobar trip enthralling. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 11 : Thank you

Let’s take ferry back to airport and board the flight and we say thank you to ever gorgeous Andaman & Nicobar Island
